In honor of Back to School time, I created a Pocket Guide to Symbolism to use for English class. I’ve noticed that while teachers can beautifully explain a concept to students, like symbolism, the students can still have trouble putting their knowledge into action.
On my website hayleyshucker.com you can find a Symbolism Pocket Guide to help guide students through their reading in English class this year. There are free PDFs available for printing as well. The student version is the basic guide and the teacher/tutor version come with exercises for students to complete.
